LIV ~ One Pointed Devotion

 

LIV is an urban sanctuary and Kundalini Yoga studio in downtown Portland, Maine created and curated by Liv Anand Kaur (Kara Seymour.)  It is a gathering place for our community to practice, connect and have a shared experience.

We are utilizing the science and technology of Kundalini Yoga as a way to forge a new path in modern society where each individual is able to realize and actualize their highest destiny. Through these practices you will optimize your physical health, mental clarity, emotional stability and spiritual intelligence.

A steady spiritual practice will strengthen the body and mind and provide you with ample energy to do the things you need to and want to do, and have a bigger experience of a life with more joy, creativity and connection.

No matter what your past looks like or even your current state of being, transformation is inevitable on this accelerated pathway to healing.

I began the practice of Kundalini yoga with Kara Seymour a year ago. Although initially not sure why I was drawn to it, I knew by the end of my first class that I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Kundalini is a very different kind of yoga - not a lot of held poses, much less standing. In my experience, it is all about the breath and compression of the organs and MOVING ENERGY!
At the time, I had a lot of stored anger that had no place to go and practicing Kundalini was a huge part of how I was able to move that anger out of my system.

Kara is a fabulous teacher and I am so excited for her to be in her own beautiful studio. I have a monthly membership that allows me to attend as many classes as I want at a very reasonable cost. Love Kara! Love Kundalini! Love LIV KUNDALINI!
